MountConnected

trait MountConnected[Msg] extends ConnectedMetadata

Capabilities that a LiveView can use only when it mounts in a connected lifecycle.

Reach them by matching ctx.connection in mount. Work started here belongs to the lifecycle and stops when it closes; a reconnect mounts again and starts it again.

Defined by scalive.MountConnected. View source (scalive/api/src/scalive/lifecycle/Connection.scala:62-87)

Methods5

async

def async: Async[Msg]

Starts finite background work whose result returns as a message.

See asynchronous work.

Defined by scalive.MountConnected.async. View source (scalive/api/src/scalive/lifecycle/Connection.scala:68-68)

client

def client: Client

Pushes events and JavaScript commands to the browser.

Defined by scalive.MountConnected.client. View source (scalive/api/src/scalive/lifecycle/Connection.scala:81-81)

components

def components: ComponentUpdates

Sends new props to stateful components rendered by this view.

An update sent here reaches a component rendered by the first connected render.

Defined by scalive.MountConnected.components. View source (scalive/api/src/scalive/lifecycle/Connection.scala:87-87)

resources

def resources: ConnectedResources

Resources owned by the current connected LiveView lifecycle.

Defined by scalive.MountConnected.resources. View source (scalive/api/src/scalive/lifecycle/Connection.scala:78-78)

subscriptions

def subscriptions: Subscriptions[Msg]

Starts message streams that run while the page stays connected.

See subscriptions.

Defined by scalive.MountConnected.subscriptions. View source (scalive/api/src/scalive/lifecycle/Connection.scala:75-75)
